The cement manufacturing and marketing business currently constitutes the ‘core business’ of Bosowa Corporation. Starting with the construction of the PT Semen Bosowa Maros plant which came into production in 1999, it produced 1.8 million tons of cement in 2007. Bosowa expanded its cement business to Western Indonesia with the development of the PT Semen Bosowa Batam plant with an annual output capacity of 1,2 million tons of cement. Employing more than 1,000 personnel, PT Semen Bosowa Maros and PT Semen Bosowa Batam are the youngest cement manufacturer in Indonesia, and the only cement companies wholly owned by a private national company.

Bosowa Cement is also involved in shipping, land transportation and ready mix to support its operations.

READY MIX: Direct delivery to projects

The biggest ready mix supplier in Eastern Indonesia and using Full Mix System to produce all types of concrete the customers need. The division provides high quality concrete for small to large scale projects. With cutting edge machineries and competent human resource, the division will deliver directly to the location. The strategic plant’s location and the distribution fleet will ensure the customers’ satisfaction.
