The construction and management of toll roads are entrusted to listed company, PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk., whose shares are majority-owned by Bosowa Corporation. A number of toll roads that are now operated by Nusantara Infrastructure are the ‘Reformasi’ toll road in Makassar, South Sulawesi, the ‘Bintaro Serpong Damai’ toll road in Tangerang, Banten, the ‘Fourth Section’ toll road that connects the city of Makassar to the Hasanuddin Airport, and soon the W1 toll connecting Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta to Penjaringan, North Jakarta. In the future, the company will also manage Bosowa’s power plant.
INFRASTRUCTURE HIGHLIGHTS 2006 Bosowa Corporation acquired a listed company, PT Meta Media Technologies, Tbk (META) and changed the name to PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk (NI). 2007 NI operates two toll roads namely Bosowa Marga Nusantara in Makassar and Bintaro Serpong Damai in Jakarta, while another 11.57 km toll road in Makassar, the JTSE is currently under construction and is expected to be completed in the mid 2008. In 2007, NI generates a revenue of US$ 17.6 million and EBITDA of US$ 6.7 million. 2008
TOLL-ROAD Jakarta – Serpong Toll-Road - 13.1 Km (Completed) The 13.1 km Jakarta-Serpong toll road starts at BSD through the Bintaro residential area and connects the Jakarta outer ring road from Ulujami. This toll road is two directions, each with two rows of 3.5 m width and with space to be widened into three traffic rows for each direction. Location Toll-Road Section I & II in Makassar - 6.1 Km (Completed) To facilitate transportation within the city of Makassar, PT.Bosowa Marga Nusantara operates the section I and II toll roads. Section I starts from Jl.Kalimantan (Soekarno-Hatta Harbor) to Jl.Teuku Umar-Jl.Sultan Abdullah Raya intersection and 3,10 km length of the Tallo Bridge. While Section II starts from Jl.Teuku Umar-Jl.Sultan Abdullah Raya to Jl.Jend.Urip Sumohardjo intersection and 3,10 km length of Jl.AP.Pettarani. Location Toll-Road Section IV - 11.57 Km (In Progress) As the capital of South Sulawesi, the city of Makassar is home for 1.7 million people and is the gateway for 9 million people of eastern Indonesia. The Makassar’s Soekarno-Hatta harbor is the strategic point for export-import activities in Eastern Indonesia, while the Hasanuddin airport serves domestic and international commercial flights, hajj, cargo, and the military in East Indonesia. As well, in light of the rapid growth of the Soekarno-Hatta harbor and the expansion of the Makassar Industrial Area (KIMA), the 11.57 km Makassar Toll Road Section IV was developed by PT Jalan Tol Seksi Empat to support economic development and connect the intersection with the Hasanuddin airport. Location Jakarta Outer Ring Road West 1 Section (JORR W1) – 9.7 km (In Progress) The JORR W1 is a part of the Jakarta Outer Ring-Road toll road network circling the metro Jakarta area. It connects the Kebon Jeruk area to Soekarno Hatta airport toll-road. It is a prime section toll-road with expected daily traffic of 100.000 to 180.000 vehicles. Bosowa holds majority ownership of PT Jakarta Lingkar Barat, the operator of JORR W1 section. Construction period is expected to be around 14 months. JORR W1 will be equipped with two interchange in Kebon Jeruk and Penjaringan, as well as a fly over in Kebon Jeruk, Kembangan, Kali Angke, Rawa Buaya - Daan Mogot, Kamal, Kapuk, and an open-close system in Dan Mogot and Kapuk Kamal. Location POWER PLANT 2 x 125 MW Coal-Fired Power Plant in Jeneponto, South Sulawesi (In Progress) In a joint venture with the SSP group, PT Bosowa Energy is currently constructing a 2x125 megawatt coal-powered geothermal power plant in Punnagayya Village, Bangkala Sub district, Jeneponto Regency, South Sulawesi. The Chengda Engineering Corporation from China is appointed as the main contractor of the power plant’s infrastructure. The Jeneponto power plant is expected to be finished around mid 2009. The power plant occupies a 230 hectares area, of which 50 hectares will be used for block 1 & 2 of the power plant, and the rest will be used for Jeneponto industry area. Power Plant: 13.4 MW Diesel Powered Power Plant in Maros, South Sulawesi (In Progress) PT Bosowa Energy is currently developing the 13.4 megawatt diesel generated Maros power plant in the village of Baruga, located at the Bantimurung sub district, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi, next to PT Semen Bosowa Maros’ plant. The plant and its supporting facilities are being built on a three hectare area. The power plant consists of three 3.5 megawatt generators and one 2.9 megawatt generator made by Sulzer/Wartsila – Swiss. The Maros power plant is utilizing automatic system and using Siemens PLC and Woodward Synchronizer. |
