PT Bosowa Corporation

Bosowa Corporation, in cooperation with the Association of Young Indonesian Business Entrepreneurs (HIPMI), South Sulawesi Government, media companies including Tribun Timur, Seputar Indonesia, Bisnis Indonesia and Smart FM held a year end Economic Forum at the Imperial Aryaduta Hotel Makassar, on January 8, 2008.

The Forum entitled “The Global Economy and the impact on the growth of East Indonesian Region” was enthusiastically attended by top businessmen in South Sulawesi who came to listen to the business and economic presentations by the well known professionals in their field. The speakers include the Governor of South Sulawesi, Dr. Syahrul Yasin Limpo, Chairman of HIPMI and concurrent CEO of Bosowa, Erwin Aksa, Commissioner of Bank Rakyat Indonesia dan concurrent Economist of INDEF, Ms. Aviliani SE, and Dr. Marzuki Dea, Expert Staff of the Bank Indonesia and concurrent Economist of Hasanuddin University; who acted as moderator of the seminar.

All participants of the economic forum have expressed the high value of the seminar as invaluable inputs to develop their businesses in light of the 2009 global economic recession.
